Mental Training
People know it takes consistent effort to experience physical health through eating and exercise habits, but they often don’t realize that mental well-being involves the same commitment. In fact, many people don’t know that their psychological health can change for the better in the first place. People will change their eating habits or commit to exercise daily or weekly, but when they experience emotional challenges such as anxiety, stress, or sadness they tend to simply wait for changes to occur or hope that others can fix it for them. Neuroplasticity is the ability of the brain to change in structure and function. Through consistent effort humans can strengthen their minds in order to experience mental well-being more often. Take time every day to deliberately focus on the feelings and emotions that you want to experience more consistently such as optimism, inspiration, passion, and motivation. Think about it, imagine what it feels like, and visualize yourself doing it. You don’t want to miss this 10 minutes a day!
