Improve your performance and improve your life. There is no simpler method for improving your well-being, than improving your performance. Much self-loathing (guilt, inadequacy, and low self-esteem) comes from poor performances in life. These poor performances come in the forms of giving up, not putting in an honest effort in the first place, or never learning from mistakes. Start small and wide. Small: Even the smallest increments of improved performance will increase self-worth and create momentum for more good to come. Wide: Improve your performance in all areas of your life. Can you be a little more involved as a parent, can you provide more support to your spouse, can you improve your productivity on the job, can you eat a little healthier, can you exercise just a little more, or can you simply be more friendly to friends, family, and strangers? Start somewhere, anywhere, and feel the positive changes!
