Resilience over Perfectionism
Resilience versus

Perfection. At one time, being a Perfectionist was labeled an honorable quality. It was thought that if one isn’t seeking perfection they must be accepting mediocrity. Recent studies have shown that Perfectionism is associated with burnout, stress, frustration, and even depression. Instead of striving for perfection, people should strive for resilience. Resilience is the answer to things not being perfect. When ‘life happens’ and when the inevitable mistakes are made, instead of feeling like a failure, a resilient person will make adjustments, learn, and grow. Instead of pursuing perfection, strive for resilience and continuous growth. That will get you as close as you can to perfection without the negative consequences.
